The main house.
The accommodation has been carefully planned so that the large house can be split into two independent and self-contained houses, should smaller parties want to visit at the same time. This is achieved by one lockable door at the top of the staircase. When larger groups visit, the whole house becomes one at the turn of a key.
The larger part comprises:

A huge sitting room, some 22ft square with a large Tuscan fireplace, comfy sofas, including a four seater sofa bed. There is also a quarter sized snooker table and a cupboard filled with books, information, games etc. This room leads onto a large terrace.
The spacious 22ft long kitchen is fully fitted in chestnut with granite worktops, with double sink, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, extractor hood, dishwasher and a 12ft long antique mahogany dining table with fourteen matching chestnut chairs. All cutlery, utensils, crockery, glasses etc are provided. This room leads onto two large terraces.
Four large bedrooms, two of which have double beds, one with three single 3ft beds and one with two 3ft beds. The bedroom furniture comprises chests of drawers, bedside cabinets, chairs and hanging rails.
Two tiled bathrooms, with one having a bath with shower over, bidet, WC and wash basin and the other having shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.
The smaller part comprises:

A large kitchen/dining room, fully fitted in oak, with double sink, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, extractor hood, dining table and chairs. All cutlery, utensils, crockery, glasses etc are provided. This room leads onto a large terrace.
Two spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a pair of 3ft single beds, which can be made up together as a double when required. The bedroom furniture comprises chests of drawers, bedside cabinets, chairs and hanging rails.
A 22ft long sitting room with corner Tuscan open fireplace, king size sofa bed, another sofa, chairs, tables etc. This room leads onto a large terrace.
The tiled bathroom has shower, WC, basin and bidet.
The Villa.

In 2005/6, we completely rebuilt a ruined property, some 100 metres away from the main house. This accommodation comprises:

The Metato.

This little oast house is a self-contained unit on two floors that sleeps two people. It is well equipped and compact with underfloor heating. The sitting room/kitchen opens onto the main terrace, while a stable door from the bedroom and bathroom at first floor level leads out onto a private terrace above the pool.

At the back of the house is the utility room, complete with a washing machine, double sink unit and the boiler. . There are tiled terraces leading from the large car park, in front of and behind the main house, and on to the Metato and the swimming pool where there are further tiled sun terraces.
General.
All the floors (except the first floor in the metato) are tiled, with underfloor heating throughout. The walls are white rendered and the ceilings traditional chestnut beams and terracotta tiles. All doors and windows are in planed and polished chestnut with wooden shutters and retractable insect mesh screens.
All the bathroom towels and Egyptian cotton bed linen are supplied.
The sitting rooms and kitchens all have direct access onto terraces and all, plus the bedrooms, have great views over the woods and valley. The boilers are the combination type, so there is always hot water available.
